I love a good wedge salad. Most great steak houses offer one (the best I ever had was at a place called Bavette’s in Chicago. I’ll post it under the Travel category on The Hubby Chef so you don’t to see the picture of that salad in all of its glory!)
ANYWAY…here’s a simple way to spice up your salad and super easy if you already have the grill going.
- Romaine heart, slides lengthwise in half
- 2-3 tbsp Hubby Chef Buttermilk Ranch
- 2 tsp bleu cheese crumbles
- Cherry tomatoes, sliced in half
Place each half of the romaine hearts face down on the HOT grill for 2 minutes. Remove, drizzle with Hubby Chef Buttermilk Dressing, top with cheese, tomatoes, salt and pepper and serve immediately.
Even with the dressing and the bleu cheese it’s 2 pts!
