This is a shout out to my sister Lynn! We stopped by at her new home in St. George, Utah this past weekend for a spectacular Sunday brunch. Out of my 5 siblings, I rank myself 4th as a cook (although my brother Mike does make a mean taco). I think from the photo you can see why. On the menu:
- Smoked salmon
- Chicken breast
- Daikon radish
- Homemade pickled onion and cucumbers
- Tomato/basil/balsamic poppers with a choice of goat cheese or mozarella
- Egg cups (eggs, cream cheese, milk) topped with caviar
- Fresh berries
- Homemade peach cobbler with vanilla Häagen-Dazs (her husband Louis in Bavarian so only the best ice cream will do!)
It was a celebration for the soul and the palette. Isn’t food wonderful?
