This is a great addition to any of The Hubby Chef sandwiches and a MUST HAVE for the Torta Ahogada. And they’re so easy.
- 2 red onions, thinly sliced and quartered
- 1/2 cup red wine vinegar
- 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
- 1/2 cup cilantro, chopped
- 1 Tsp salt
- 1 Tbsp olive oil
- 1 Tbsp agave nectar (or honey)
Place everything into a ziplock bag and allow to sit for 1-2 hours at room temperature. Drain the liquid and place bag in the fridge to keep fresh. They’ll keep for about 2 weeks but are best in the first week.
